Just when you think the three gardeners are going to throw her in the pond, they take Leslie Bovee upstairs and rape her in the living room. Even though she becomes a suddenly willing participant once the action starts, it's still the kind of romance one rarely if ever sees these days in today's story-driven porno. But it's not the fault of the horny guys, it's the amulet worn by Bovee that drives men to commit such acts. The amulet gets passed around, just like the women who wear it.

Fortunately, there are some super-hot dolls involved, in particular Samantha (aka Monique) Cardin, Dorothy Le May and Serena. Modern porn fans who can get through the muff will see some familiar acts, like the double b.j., d.p. and pissing. The box cover says Sensual Encounters was nominated for Best Picture in 1978, though it doesn't say who did the nominating. Then again, who can remember 27 years later? Whether or not it was one of that year's best, most of the scenes still hold up.
